Since 2011, AMG Foods has provided specialized advice in food regulation, food supplements, beverages, additives, enhancing agents and packaging, offering all technical support to verify the legal parameters that govern the food and beverage market.

AMG Foods strategy is based on a macro view which is also specialized, acting in the survey of scientific requirements, identification of technical data, as well as in the diagnosis of possible gaps in order to find an effective path in product approval by government agencies.

AMG Foods team is led by Ana Maria Giandon, who has been working in regulatory affairs since 1987. With in-depth knowledge in the procedures of each government agency, she participated in task forces to develop standards with ANVISA, MAPA and INMETRO.

We count with a multidisciplinary team, made up of specialists in food engineering, pharmaceuticals, chemistry and health law.

Ana Maria

ANA MARIA GIANDON: Food Engineer graduated in 1986 from the Educational Foundation of Barretos, Ana Maria Giandon has worked in food and beverage regulatory affairs since 1987 at the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa), Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Justice (CDC), National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology (Inmetro). Member of ABIA's Technical Department from 1986 to 1988. Participated in the Task Force on Formulas for Enteral Nutrition of the National Health Surveillance Agency from 2010 to 2011. Member of the Food for Special Purposes Committee of Codex Alimentarius at Anvisa in 2009-2010. Participated in Anvisa Task Force on Allergens in 2014. Technical advisor to ABIAD-Brazilian Association of Dietetic Food and Related Industries and ABBA -Brazilian Association of Exporters and Importers of Food and Beverage. Co-author of the Legislation chapter in the books "Oral, Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition in Clinical Practice" and "Health Surveillance - Topics on Legislation and Food Analysis". Full member of the Brazilian Society of Food Analysts - SBAAL - since 2013. Lecturer in the pharmacy course at USP from 2009 to 2018.

Maria Inácia

Food Technologist from UNICAMP. Pharmacist graduated from Universidade São Francisco. Master Degree in Food Science from UNICAMP. Experience in the food regulatory area of national and multinational companies operating in Latin America. Experience in strategy and regulatory assessment of food and beverages, preparation of dossier on safety and effectiveness of ingredients, food additives, technology support, food and beverage registration. Extensive knowledge in industrial microbiology with over 15 years of experience in the area in research institutes and chemical industries with experience in microbiological laboratory management, implementation of analytical methods, suppliers of raw material and equipment assessment. Knowledge in industrial plant audit and development of improvement reports. Experience in coordinating courses and technical trainings as well as active participation as an internal auditor in the implementation of management system standards, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and SA 8000. Invited professor in National and International Food Law with the Postgraduate Course in Food Safety and Quality at Faculdades Oswaldo Cruz (SP).

Evaluation of formulas and labels of national and imported products, providing necessary recommendations to address the gap between the development area and the Brazilian regulatory area.
